Interactive marketing can be defined as the marketing practices in which a two way communication is established between the marketer and the customers so that the customers can be served effectively.
In case of personal computer industry, there are manly two types of products available , Mac and Windows.
Mac is a product launched by Apple Inc. and it is having monopoly in the mac OS while in case of Windows OS, there are number of producers such as Dell, Lenovo, Sony and so on.
Dell initiated its business purely on the basis of on-line customer focused business model where the customer can log in to the website of the company and as per their requirements , can place the order. This s a form of interactive marketing, where the company tries to understand the requirement of the customers and then facilitate the same products .
On the other hand, Apple is considered to be the most advanced company in terms of technology and features. The company regularly analyses the needs and wants of the customers by having a close interaction with them and then come up with the product exceeding the expectations of the customers.
