Amway International Inc. is a multi national corporation which specialises in manufacturing and selling healthcare, beauty, and home care products. It was founded in Michigan in year 1959 by Jay Van Andel and Richard Davos. In 2017, Amway reported a revenue of $8.6 billion.
The key competitors of Amway are Proctor and Gamble (P&G), Avon Products Inc, and Mary Kay Inc. These companies are direct rivals of Amway as the core products sold by these companies are substitutes of Amway products. P&G reported a revenue of 15.6 billion in 2017,whereas Avon products reported 5.5 billion revenue in the same year.Mary & Kay reported a revenue of 4 billion in 2017.
