3-- Skin integrity and sensory alterations are, at times, closely interrelated for the older adult. Discuss three effective interventions that may be implemented for an older adult with limited physical functions?
As the person ages , the elasticity of the skin decreases and the oil production reduces which causes dry flaky skin making it prone for skin ulcers if there is restricted movement.
Along with skin there are other sensory impairments like visual impairment, hearing loss, smell and taste impairment are also associated.
