what are types of inflamation
There are two types of inflammation
A) Acute inflammation
B) Chronic inflammation
Acute inflammation is rapid host response which provides the leucocytes and plasma proteins antibodies to sites of infection or injury of tissue.
Main cell is neutrophil. It has redness swelling, pain and fever like symptoms.
B) Chronic inflammation: This is long term inflammation in which the tissue injury and repair of injury is in different combinations.
Example: Rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus and tuberculosis infection. These type of inflammation is adaptive type.
Viral or parasitic infections causes tuberculosis.
Autoimmune mediated diseases. Main cell involved are macrophages, plasma cells and lymphocytes.
