Short answer questions
1) What are synonyms for reliability and validity?
Validity - Validity is checking whether the developed research method or a questionnaire makes sense or not for the chosen research. Before distributing the actual questionnaire to the identified population, it is checked for its relevance to the research problem, user friendliness in terms of understanding the questions presented and for its relevance in terms of the chosen population. In order to check the validity, the questionnaire is shared to very few people of the selected population and necessary corrections are made before it is shared with the chosen population who will be answering the questionnaire.
Reliability - Reliability is in terms of the consistency of the questionnaire. To explain it simply, the Questionnaire will yield the same data whenever, wherever and whichever population it is been tested. Reliability is really important because it tests the Questionnaire for its accuracy.
