Marxism

We know that Marxism is an economic theory which states that economic and social system. The leading proponents of Marxism are Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels. The central element of this theory is that class struggle in western societies. The Marxism is talking about capitalism which means that the means of production is controlled and owned by private individuals and their primary motive is to maximize profit. Whereas, Marxism encourages the public ownership of means of production, distribution and exchange of goods and services. The working class under capitalism is labor, and they are related to the means of production. He gave the idea of class struggle, wars and uprisings of the labor force. The labors are getting only minimum wages for his work.

Pluralist tradition

The pluralist tradition is talking about political decision making and power are exerted with the government. However, the non-government agencies also influence the resources. The pluralism has the idea of how the power and influence distributed under the political system. The groups are always trying to maximize their interests. The lines of conflict are the central theme to compete with each other in the political system. Making inequality is the aim to distribute resources with the population of the country. to getting democracy is the major aim of the people in this system.

Weberian tradition

The Weberian tradition is the idea of Marx Weber. The central element of this is class. Weber’s class difference is taken from the idea of Marx. According to him, the possession of the property is defined as the class difference in society. The economic power is here defined by the control of the material resources. Weber is talking about consumption, but Marx gave the idea of means of production. The power in the Weberian tradition is that the Charisma which means that the quality of a person to influence the group of people. The Charismatic leader is always thinking about the status he getting from society.
