He will be having pain of ulcers as the use of NSAIDS.

provide analgesics odered by physician to help alleviate painful sensations.

collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to explore alternative therapy for example pain relief clinic.

Alternative methods of therapy like accupuncture,distraction,biofeedback to control pain.

Teaching plan for phil regarding his condition.

*impaired mobility associated with pain so encourage ROM excercises and physiotherapy.

provide clarification and misconception regarding the disease and socialize with patient.

Encourage phil to use assistive devices with the help of ADLs to promote self care.

Psychological support for both phil and his relative.

Loose or maintain weight.

Avoid forceful repetative movements and teach him appropiate positioning to avoid pressure ulcers.

Hot and cold application to reduce pain.

Nutritional diet .

Instruct and monitor the risk for GI bleeding and upper GI problems owing to intake of NSAIDs.
