Complementary therapies are any medical or the healthcare practices or the products that are not a part of standard medical care . A complementary therapy can include treatments , medicine and different ideas and philosophies that about why and how disease occurs and should be treated . Some complementary therapies that are useful in children's with asthma that are includes;-

Acupuncture

Air purifiers or ionisers

nuttrional supplements

massage

homoeopathy

herbal medicine

salt therapy

breathing exercises

osteopathy , chiropractic and other manual therpies

Any treatment , whether conventional or complementary has the potential to help as well as harm .Some complementary therapies that can cause asthma symptoms are echinacea, royal jelly, garlic, bee pollen and other products that contain aspirin ..If a chlidren like to try acomplementary therapy then , have a consult with doctor firstly , about how they can improve the asthma in children by which appropriate conventential threapy with right method.

Diet

The asthma sufferening childrens recomended teh diet plan to add in their schedule so that improvement could be seen in the disease process . They are recommended to not to eliminate dairy product from their diet unless they have a diagnosed food allergy to cow's milk . and also not try dietary elimination especially for the children's except under medical supervision of an allergist or accredited practising dietition. caffeine also ahould be eliminated from the diet plan as it has harmful effect on childs health

Herbal therapies

Herbal medicine uses treatments that made from plants and plants extracts , it is one of teh oldest forms of medicine and used around the  world . it is useful in some extent for the cureness of asthma . some of tehherbals that shown benefits in chlids asthma arre as ;-Tylophora indica ( Indian ipecac ) , coleus forskohlii . But on other hand Echinacea , royal jelly and bee pollen , propolis and tehgarlic can have a serious side effects , And royal jellys are absoluety not suitable for the children in asthma and allergy sufferers.

Homeopathy

Homeopathy is based on the   belief that  a substance that produce the symptoms of a disease in a healthy person that can treat the  disease itself if given in a tiny amount The substance is believed to stimulate the immune system and cause it cure the diasease or illness. The use of homeopathy for astma in children are effective but also use some precautions as it is more important to have caution when consuming any substance that may the child be allergic too .

Meditation

MEditation and hypnosis is a deep state of relaxation that  allows the person to focus their complete attention on one thing or the idea . Hypnosis is also helpful in some cases, particularly for reducing teh stress , but it is not at all people hypnotised. Relaxation techniques such as like meditition or teh visualisation could be seems worthwhile as if stress is a trigger for children asthma or may makes asthma worse , but in childrens , stress are hardly be seens.
