(a) Which factory has the highest percentage of type B defects? Provide the relevant percentages to support your answer.

(b) Compute the expected frequency table under the hypothesis that the type of production defect and the factory are independent variables.

(c) Compute the χ^2 test statistic and decide whether there is statistically significant evidence of an association between type of production defect and factory, using a significance level of 0.02.

(d) Which factory had a significantly larger than expected number of type A defects?
