Workers rights are the basic rights of workers such as freedom from inequality, freedom from discrimination, assuring job safety, right to take medical leave and minimum wages.These all are the basic rights of workers who works in a certain company .There exist many laws in order to protect workers rights.Such as Discrimination in Employment Act ( introduced in 1967)this act is mainly used to avoid discrimination among the employees. The Employment Rights Act introduced in 1996 protects each and every employees by protecting their rights.Labours union ,OSHA(occupational Safety and Health Administration) these all are for protecting the workers rights.For protecting workers rights there exist many organization as well as governments.The main aim of them is to protect the workers and to meet the requirements of the workers.To protect workers rights they established these laws such as Employment Rights Act,OSHA and many labour unions are there to work for the labours.Workplace rules are there with in each companies which help the workers to work efficiently and to achieve the goals and targets. Corporations claim that they protect workers rights by setting up workplace rules .workplace rules also protect the workers rights in many ways.Medical leaves are given to the workers.Dress code is given to the workers for getting a uniformity and to feel like all the workers are same for the company.Safety rules as well as disciplinary rules are also there .Mainly the workplace rules protect workers from legal claims.
