Discuss the various factors that are conducive to terrorism. what can the global community do to best counteract or remove some of the factors?

Terrorism is acts of violence designed to promote a particular ideology or agenda by creating panic or fear among the people. There are various factors which are conductive and cause behind the terrorism.

The first and primary root of terrorism is Poverty. Poverty is the main cause which plays a vital to force a man or women or group of people to involve in certain kind of activity. Poverty force them to involve in these kind of activities.

The second factor is globalisation. Due to globalisation there is so many non-state actors comes and this globalisation empowers these non-state actors. Actually those people who are cause behind the terrorism are completely against these globalisation and they do not like other people involve on their issues.

The third factor is grievances, failures of government and violation by government. When there arise various kind problems and grievances against the government then there arise these terrorism problems. The failures of government and violation also influence that activity.

The fourth factor is humiliation. If some person and group of people humiliated by some activities or group of people then they can go to that activity. Because of that the person took that certain extreme decision.

The fifth factor is lack of democracy and massive violation of human rights. When there is dismantling situation and lack of democracy with massive violation of human rights then that factor plays a role in terrorism.

The sixth factor is foreign policy. The various kind of foreign policy induce the start of various kind of terrorism activity. If the foreign policy go against the interest of that local state or local people.

The global community can do various kind of activities to remove some of these factors. First of all there could be taken some policies to remove the poverty which is the main root of terrorism. The global community can build some policies which protect the democracy and human rights of that region. There should also be involvement in different foreign policy particularly the sensitive policies which could affect the situation.
