ESHI was developed to ensure health benefits for maximum . During world war ll ESHI came into existence. It was to ensure the working of labour's. It was a hope for them that if anything wrong happen they have a health care system to ensure their safety. From then this system was used .
ESHI help employee Access to health care by keeping some portions of their salary every month . This helps the company to ensure health care benefits. It is simply be called employer sponsored health program . This approach was put forward by affordable Care act . It is mendatory for employers eor more than 40 workers.
Downsides of ESHI --- it causes job lock . It means that employee cannot change their job according to their benefits. It causes stagnation. It also causes inequality. Large benefits goes to the workers who are paid higher and the workers who are paid lesser gets the lowest benefits. The US health care system is very expensive and the outcomes from their is not better than others.
