You have received a business research report done by a consultant for your firm, a life insurance company. The study is a survey of customer satisfaction based on a sample of 600.
You are asked to comment on its quality. What will you look for?
I would ensure the purpose of the research is clear; the research process is thoroughly documented and planned; limits have been revealed; highly ethical standards have been used; adequate analysis has been carried out; findings have been clear (ambiguous); conclusions are justified; credentials are stated by the researcher. I could also analyze the 600's workforce. Was all of them of the same age? From the country's same region? Similar insurance products purchasers?
