With the symptoms mentioned above and also considering the age , the most probable diagnosis can be of leukemia.
The most probable lekukemia which suits the above condition is chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
The median age for the diagnosis of chronic lymphocytic leukemia is 60 years.
Patinet mab be asymptomatic at diagnosis, when the symptoms present they may be of nonspecific.
Generalized lymphadenopathy with firm, non tender, enlarged lymph nodes usually present in majority of symptomatic patinets.
CLL disrupta the normal immune function. The patinet cannot fight against the infections. So there is an increased chance of recurrent infection. Hypogammaglobulinemia is common and contribute to the increased susceptibility to infection.
The patinet usually develop hemolytic anemia or thrombocytopenia due to the antibodies made by the non neoplastic B cells.
