What is the scope and the authority of the Administration for Children and Families (ACF)
The Administration for Children & Families (ACF) is a division of the Department of Health & Human Services. It promotes the economic and social well-being of families, children, individuals and communities.
It was formed on April 15,1991 by the federal government of united states.
# Scopes of ACF are :-
- to empower families and individuals economic independence and productivity
- to develop a strong, healthy, supportive communities that have a positive impact on the quality of life and the development of children
- services planned, reformed, and integrated to improve needed access
- a strong commitment to work with people with developmental disabilities, refugees, and migrants to address their needs, strengths, and abilities
# The Office of Administration is responsible for all aspects of:-
- human resource administration and management
- staff development and training activities
- information resource management
- financial management
- ethics
- grants administration and policy
- procurement issues
- organizational development and analysis
- administrative services, and facilities management.
