Pharmacy is a place in medical dispensery where all the medicational drugs are bought, prepared and sold to the patients. A pharmacist works in a pharmacy. In a regular day, he prepare medicines by analysing and comprehending the doctor's orders to serve the patients and provides necessary pharmacological information to the healthcare team. He measures all the therapeutic incompatibilities before providing medicine to the patient. He inspects the nursing unit and all major patient drug therapies during the morning hours. In the men time all the billing, compounding, packaging, and labeling of pharmaceuticals stuff are being performed. Appropriate education as well as pharmacological information is provided to the patients with other necessary counselings on drug therapies. Interns and trainees are being asked to properly label the medications and arrange them accordingly. Proper maintainance of controlled substances records is being performed while removing the old, expired or damaged stock from the storage. Proper infection control measures are taken for safety of patients and technicins.
