theory of reasoned action explain the relation between behavior and attitude within human action.It states that a persons motive to perform a behavior is the main predictor of wheather or not they literally perform that behavior

THEORY OF PLANNED BEHAVIOR

This theory that links one's beliefs and behavior ,It states that attitude towards behavior ,percived behavioral control and subjective norms together shape an individuals behavioural intentions and behaviors

Both the theories focuses on theoretical constructs concerned with individual motivational factors as determinants of the likelihood of performing specific behaviors

The TRA and TPB assuming that the best predictor of behavior is intention, which is determined by attitude toward and social normative perceptions regarding the behavior

These theories explain a large proportion of the variance in intention and predict a number of different health behaviors and intentions .
