Autism

Autism is an important developmental disorder that affect the communication and interaction ability. This affect overall cognitive, social, emotional and physical health of the individual. In some people the symptoms starts in early month but some show syptoms after few months or years.

Symptoms

• social skill- a child with ADS cannot interact well with others. problems with social skill is the major problem. some times they avoid physical contact, eye contact, prefer alone , doesnot understand others emotions, etc
• communication - 40% of kids with autism do not talk , they have delay in speech , singsong voice, echolalia, inability to continue a topic, rarely use common gestures.
• behaviour- repetative behaviour, very sensitive to some activities, specific routes , hyper behaviour, lack of coordination, aggressive behaviour, short attention etc

Treatments

• behavioural , educational and family therapy.
• provide mental and physical support
• therapy stimulate sensory behaviour
• speech therapy
• medications
