It has included non elderly adults who have incomes belowe 133% of federal poverty line for medicaide covergae a $16000 for individual or $33500 for a family haviing four members. It has also subsidized health care insurance not only for individuals but for small businesses as well without access to employmnet insurance thorugh health care market places.

Because of such two important reforms under ACA the numbers of uninsured citizens in US has been reduced from 41 millon to 27 million since it came into effect in 2013.

Many studies have explored how various amendments in the ACA has lead to improvemnets in accesibility to health care and health insurance. One study claims that by end of 2015 the proportion of individual Americans without apersonal doctor has been reduced by 5.5% points.
