Define Law, Ethics, and Bioethics and explain what each means?
Law is defined as rules that are enforced by the social or governmental institutions to regulate the behavior or action of the members and if not followed by the members leads to penalties. These rules cannot be changed by the society and it is compulsory to follow by the members. Example: do not drink and drive
Ethics is defined as the moral principles that guide what is good and what is bad about the individual or societal behavior or decision or action. Ethics helps to take decision in a good manner or in an acceptable way. It increases respecting each other in society. Many ethical principles are made to follow by the people to make sure to take good decisions. example: respect for the individual rights
Bioethics is defined as the study of the ethical issue that arises due to emerging advances in biology and medicine. This mainly focus on how changes in the technology changes the health of the people. Example: Side effects of using gene therapy in the future of the patient.
