An organization may differentiate because of its autonomy. The organization must decide its differentiation based on its service offerings. In the competitive market, the organization must differentiate through the high-efficiency services, superior quality, and immediate attention to the client's needs. The organization can achieve the excellence in one or more functions. The organizational structure must allow the providers to work as a team so they manage the complicated tasks. The proper structure must eliminate the gaps between the healthcare professionals and the management. This makes the working environment comfortable to the staffs and minimizes of too many working loads. The leader should take responsibility for developmental strategy.

Technological innovation plays a vital part in an Organization. The organization must restructure the responsibilities, goals based on the organizational adaption. New organizational forms should include research and practice, scientific knowledge, and demands in the population. The managerial should concern about social, political, and economic influences.

The tall hierarchy has a vertical structure where managers are responsible for the various department. In the flat or horizontal organization, all the providers are under one head. In this, there is no middle management. Both have different ways in their decision making. In the vertical, the decisions are in an organized way which has set of rules and guidelines for the workers. In a flat hierarchy, the decision and goals are fixed where the employee is work based on this. The collaboration and teamwork will be efficient in the vertical structure. The employee can be open to all and will provide collaborative solutions in the horizontal structure. In vertical structure, the communication process has slow as it flows from top management to the end employee whereas in horizontal there is a direct communication between the management and employees and employee have more chance of discussing the problems as of easy flow.
