How should wildlife species like grouse or deer be valued, and how should that value be balanced against the economic interests of a company like Questar? What, if anything, should Questar be doing differently?

Solutions

Expert Solution

With the growing economic interest of companies like Questar, it has become very crutial to keep the wildlife species like grouse or deer safe. It's not always about the economic benefit but also the sustainable benefit, which will not harm the wildlife species. The most basic way to value the wildlife speciesis to preserve there natural habitat. The wildlife creatures can like deer can be protected in there own habitat. By disturbing then , it can even get extict. So, the habitatis a major this that should be taken care of to value nthese wildlife species.

But since companies like Questar which are oil producer in rocky mountain they have alot of economic benefit in that region by extraction, but this leads to mining etc in a large cover of area which devasted the habitat. So the balance should be maintained by the companies like enchroaching thoses land which is less used by wildlife species, or rehabitating these species to a better place, or the area should be brought back into its same old position.

So questar can do these things differently, to maintain the balamce in ecosystem.
