The first improvement needed is the effective real time communication among the different components of the value delivery network. It will ensure the highest customer service level, and minimum occurrence of bullwhip effect in the network. As a result, resources will be utilized more efficiently by the network players. The second improvement needed is the setting up ethical standards and sustainability practices among the different components of the value delivery network. It will help implement policies that are correct in terms of morally high standards of the society, environmental conservation and employee friendly. It gives a positive and important message to the customers of the online retailers and they become loyal customers of the retail service providers. For example, a company like Starbucks does it with all the network members that creates value for the customers and community. The third improvement needed, is post purchase customer services to the customers by the online retailers. For example, it is often observed that online retailers, either do not respond to the customer queries or complaints on live chat, or they don't pick up the calls. It creates annoying cases to the customers and customer grievances take place. The fourth improvement needed is the verification of quality, best before dates, originality of the products and other details by the online retailers of suppliers or sellers who are using the platform of online retailers. It will ensure that customers get superior quality products and conformance to quality takes place. It will create a happy customer. If it is not done, then many pharmaceutical products are being produced with duplicate level and customers have the huge scope of getting duplicate masks, sanitizers, disinfectants and other products and it crates dissatisfaction to them.
