Health is the most fundamental requirement of humans. Degrading health might lead to adverse outcomes and it gets reflected in all spheres of life. Growth and development are of no use if these are not able to protect human health. How successful its state depends on its ability to provide the health facilities to its people.
After the advent of the welfare state, the government has changed its focus towards increasing the health facilities. Health insurance is the main factor that increases the welfare of people. People are getting insured against the uncertainties in the future. Thus, the major part of income is saved and people are able to enjoy other goods and services. it leads to prolonged life and productivity of workers rises.
