There are medical and ethical issues in health care .There are differences between legal and ethical standards in healthcare.The healthcare sector is governed by set of rules,rregulations and ethical standards.Legal standards are useful,as they help people what not to do whereas ethical standards are primarily based on human principles of right and wrong.With legal standards,authorities are allowed to enforce rules when people do something illegal,whereas ethical standards lack such regulations.Legal actions are applicable to any individual within a country whereas ethical standards considered a voluntary and personal act of an individual based upon their perception of right and wrong.The legal issues in the healthcare includes problems related to medical negligence,informed consent and confidentiality.Also there is healthcare malpractice which increase expenditure on unnecessary health services.The ethical issues includes topic of confidentiality,informed consent and patient doctor relationship.The ethical issues related to confidentiality happens when a health care worker may be violating a patient's confidentiality by disclosing medical information to others who should not have access to it.Another ethical issues is physician assisted suicide and euthanasia,euthanasia refers to the process of deliberately ending a patient's life in order to releive them from suffering.It is illegal in most of the countries but it is still a hostly debated ethical issues.
