Discuss the role of institutional racism in your life. How have you benefited from, or been harmed by, institutional racism? How does it affect the way you view others? How does it affect the way you view yourself? Is it more subtle than other forms of racism?
Institutional racism also known as systemic racism. It is also a type of racism that people may or may not face to their ongoing journey. It leads to various discrimination that we face in terms of Education, health care, employment and many more. Till now it can be seen in our society where create the discrimination through prejudice, ignorance, thoughtfulness, racist stereotyping which is created problem for minority people.
According to me the role of institutional racism and benefits of people come over other in form following data that are mentioned below-
1. Various data suggest black people leave school more often than white one although they make equal strength into the class.
2. Black fellow face twice more problems than white one while seeking for a job.
3. Colour of the skin also matters what type of punishment he gets for capital punishment.
4. Getting problem in admission and treatment often into the hospital.
At the end we can compromise the actual, knowledge, eligible people who is more likely favourable for that occasion.
According to me what I feel or do it's matter a lot. People always ingore the minority class from the long ego, It's urgent for all the people participate equally in the country economy and its development. One party suffers a lot other one has different perspective.
It does affect me if i would have been suffered from these type discrimination. It eventually break the moral, believe, trust even he possesses the quality.
Yes it is more subtle than other forms of racism. As I said earlier it is happening from long ago, no one interested to talk on this matter and resolve it for completely.
