  1. Because of very small standard change in free energy (1.7kJ/mol), the conversion of glucose 6-phosphate to fructose 6-phosphate is made readily reversible. Therefore, The conditions that would bias the reaction towards the products (fructose 6-phosphate), would be a higher concentration of(glucose 6-phosphate) i.e., the reactants and low concentration fructose 6-phosphate i.e., the products. Also, due to the difference between cellular and standard conditions, the cellular enzyme kinetics is also dependent on the requirement of the cell. In this way, F-6-P formation will occur when there is low concentration of ATP demanding for more energy and formation of ATP
