PICOT Research Question:

For an intervention/ Therapy:

In Myocardial infarction patients (P), what is the effect of Heparin(I) on reducing the risk of stroke(O) compared with aspirin(C) within the 72 hours(T)?

For Etiology:

Are Myocardial infarction patients (P), who have heparin (I) are at decreased risk of stroke(O) compared with myocardial infarction patients(P) with aspirin(C) over 72 hours(T).

Diagnosis/ Diagnostic Test:

Are Treadmill exercise test(I) is more accurate in diagnosing myocardial infarction patients(P) compared with the ECG(C) for early identification.

Prevention:

For the Myocardial infarction patients(P) does the use of heparin(I) reduces the future risk of stroke(O) compared with aspirin(C).

Prognosis:

Does heparin(I) influences the reduction of stroke(O) in patients who have the myocardial infarction(P) over the period of 72 hours(T)?

Meaning:
