1. Lack of physician-patient interaction: By using e-visit the communication process between patient and doctor can't be more effective due to poor interpersonal relationship. Most of the patients may hesitate during e-visit about telling their health problems.

2. Lack of physical examination: During e-visit consultation the physical examination will not be done effectively due to lack of face to face interaction. Also palpation, auscultation etc will be undone during e-visit. That can be a important disadvantage of e-visit consultation.

3. Incomplete patient observation: It means that patient's basic observation will be incomplete during e-visit consultation because physician will be unable to check patient's vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse & respiration) in that case without checking patient's vital signs how a patient can be treated effectively.

4. Unavailability of Insurance coverage: Most of the health insurance agencies does not accepts e-visit consultation. It can be a big problem for the patient regarding e-visit consultation.
