Further, if the body is low in protein, calcium, zinc, or vitamin A, deficiency it can have ridge in fingernails. The nutritional recommendations can we can make as a health care professional include; eating fish, meat, and poultry, Eggs. Use of dairy products. Vegetables such as; Asparagus, Artichokes, Avocados, Cayenne, Carrots, and Currants. Thus a balanced diet rich in vitamins and minerals is recommended.
