4) What factors in the nursing history are relevant to the cardiopulmonary system and oxygenation?
5) How does fluid, electrolyte and acid base balance regulates the body systems?
4. Various physiological factors like factors affecting oxygenation, cardiac output, blood pressure, contraction and relaxation of arteries and ventricles, heart rate, oxygen carrying capacity of hemoglobin as well as RBCs are some significant factors in nursing for the cardiopulmonary system and oxygenation.
5. Body fluid is the major composition of the body almost 60-65% , majorly blood and plasma (95% water) it helps in transportation of oxygen and other essential nutrients in the body, It also help in the digestion of foood., it also helps in the excretion for rempoval of waste products like through urination. It also regulates the body temperature though perspiration.
The electrolytes produce essential ions like sodium potassium chloride , which help in various mechanisms/function of the body like polarization, depolarization of nerve impulses, contraction and maintains the blood pressure and also the pH balance of the body.
Acid -base balance in the body is important for the regulation of various function in the body like action of proton pump and thus acidity and its inhibition for antacid action. Slight variation in the body's acid base balance can significantly change various vital reactions in th body.
