explain one real-life example that discourages the retailer’s sales effort outside.
Ans. The online shopping websites are the biggest examples of
discouraging the retailer’s sale outside means in the physical
market. Retailers are discouraged in the international platform
because of the existence of online companies like alibaba.com and
amazon.com. Retailers are not in a picture on the international
platform because of the existence of these big online platforms.
These online websites encourage the brands and small businesses to
trade online to encourage more sales and this affects the retailers
in the market.
In the world platform retailers are not able to present the goods
as these companies have presently overpowered the international
markets which have affected the retailers and discouraged them.
There is a time limit for the retailers to present their goods to
the customers and influence them to purchase the goods but the
online websites provide their goods every time means 24 ×7 which
consumers feel is easy and comfortable for them.
Retailers are also very much discouraged because of the exposure of
big brand companies as their products are known to the customers
but for the small companies, there are no such set platforms
available in the international level or in the domestic level where
their goods can be presented in such a manner so that it can get
practical experience and approach for their product. Therefore the
retailers get discouraged as their opportunities and sales come
down and they are not able to influence more customers to buy their
products.
