Question 1: What percentage of the total calories comes from fat?

According to the data given above

The total fat in grams is 43gms

According to the formula

Divide the total fat calories from the calories per serving x 100.

Here 1gram of fat produces 9 calories

Hence, 43 grams of fat produces 43 X 9 = 387 calories

Total fat calories = 387 calories

Calories per serving = 670 calories

Hence, taking these findings 387 / 670 X 100 gives the percentage of total calories comes form fat

387 / 670 X 100

0.5776 X 100

57.76 % total calories comes from fat

Question No 2:

What percentage of the total calories comes from saturated fat?

a. Multiply the grams of saturated fat by 9 = (xx) the number of saturated fat calories in the food item.

b. Divide (xx) the number of saturated fat calories in the food item by the total number of calories in the food item = % of saturated fat

Hence, the saturated fats in the details given are 17 grams

17 grams X 9 = 153 calories

17 grams saturated fats = 153 calories

Now,

153 calories / 670 calories (total number of calories in food item) X 100

153 / 670 X 100

22.84% of calories in saturated fats

Name one ingredient that likely to contribute a large amount of saturated fat?

Sugar is an ingredient which has large amount of cholesterol in the given data

What percentage of the Daily Value for total fat is contributed by this particular product?

The total daily value by combined fat is

387 + 153 + 9 = 549

549 / 670 X 100 = 81.94%
