Such factors strongly contribute to medical tourism’s growth and display a trend of growth in the upcoming future. Local governments along with healthcare companies are developing themselves in order to make a contribution to the “medical tourism market” in the world. Even though, medical tourism is a “niche market”, there is global and broad participation. Globalization, economic trends, technological change and demographics are the key factors for the increasing trend of medical tourism.

The healthcare companies of the United States are continuously facing an unmatched hike in costs of providing medical and healthcare to approximately 46 million patients who are either underinsured or insured.
