3. A growing number of American women what to give birth at home instead of at a hospital. What do you think about this practice? What environment would you prefer if you were giving birth or your partner was giving birth?
4. Do you think that there is a limit to the number of humans who can live on Earth? What factors contribute to the ability of the Earth to sustain (or fail to sustain) a large number of humans?
ANSWER 1) There are many children who die of pneumonia, diarrhea,malaria,measles or undernutrition, but personally I do not know anyone.
The global health inequalities develop because of the differences in health status or distribution of health resources among various population group from different social condition. According to us, this is unfair. Every individual whether belong to any population having any social condition to receive the health resources equally. Irrespective of all the differences, every individual should be treated as human.
ANSWER 2) The children with special needs are those who are terminally ill, born with a syndrome,have cognitive impairement or serious psychiatric problem. Some children may have special needs as they have learning disabilities, food allergies,developmental delays or panic attacks. Adequate support and guidance is needed in order to meets their social, economic, emotional, academic and sometimes medical milestones.
Taking care of such children with special needs is a challenge for families. In my community, special consideration for education of such students is made in to practice. This is done by presenting a medical certificate which will certify their disability. Various other institutions are found that will help such children learn other arts in life like singing, dancing. Medical facilities are also available to treat the medical issues for such children.
In order to improve the activities and facilities provided for such children, early identification of such disability wil[l help to make early interventions.
ANSWER 3) In this modern era, the trend of giving birth at hospital is changing back to giving birth at home. This practice can be considered safe only for those women who is diagnosed to have a normal delivery. It is not suitable for the women with pregnancy related complications or the one who needs frequent monitoring.
If I am one who is giving birth, I would prefer hospital but to be accompained with my husband. This is because giving birth is a very important and precious event of my life and do not want to risk my child's life for any of my luxurous activity or my comfort. If anything goes wrong, there will be team of professional to make it.
ANSWER 4) Yes there is a limit for number of people who can live on the earth but this number is often balance by the birth and death cycle. I would like to discuss the factors that contribute to the ability of the earth not to sustain a large number of human. They are:
