3a. Find the mean, median, mode, and standard deviation of these numbers.

3b. For each of those statistics, explain whether it makes sense for this data set and why.

3c. What is it about this situation that makes these numbers statistics? What else would they be?

3a: mean=(1+2+3+3+3+4+6+8+8)/9=4.22

Median: (9+1)/2th term=5th term =3

Mode: Number that occur mostly frequent or more time or maximum frequesncy =3

3b:Near about all mean make sence but in some respect i think mean is not good but sample is small and not very extreme so mean also make sence. But in my point of view in such situation where maximum type frequency data occur then we generally used Mode central tendency. Median is generally used in Qualitative type data handling.

3c: Mean is best measure of central tendency because it fallow all good criteria for central tendency except its ddepends on extreme value situation so at extreme value situation we use median and when data given as less than or more than type then we also used median. median is used in case where we find allowances, real wages etc. Mode is rarly used , This is used in qualitative type data generally , its used where frequency given and we find number that occur maximum times. Mode generally used in Shop for ideal size of shoes.
