Exercise can reduce the risk of various health problems . Some of the health issues that can be prevented by physical exercise and activity are Obesity, Hypertension , Depression , Back pain and stress.

  • Over 650 million are obese worldwide . About 13 % of world's population were obese.
  • The overall prevalence of raised blood pressure in adults aged 25 and over was around 40% worldwide according to WHO.
  • The number of people who would suffer from depression during their lives falls within an 8–12% range average.

MEASURES TAKEN TO INCORPORATE EXERCISE:

  • Educate the people about the need of physical activity.
  • Explain the positive effect of doing exercise
  • Exercises can be daily activities like household chores , gardening or recreational activities like dancing or sports or gym or spiritual activities like meditation
  • Advice people to climb stairs instead of using elevator , walk for shopping or go by a bicycle rather using car
  • Make them realise physically active people has lesser risk of heart diseases , stroke , stress, backpain.
  • Guide people towards regular muscle strengthening and stretching exercises which helps in maintaining their physique.
  • Reinforce the necessity of exercise to people by showing your other clients who exercise regularly and are strong . Exercise improves the quality of life.
