Credential issues can be defined as the issues in the providing credentials to the staff as well the health care organization. These credential issues are very sensitive and cause major damage.
2 credential issues are described below:
1. Issues with the background:
An organization must check the background of the physicians as well as other health care employees. Not checking the background may lead to significant damage to the patient's health directly. in case, a physician is not qualified enough to treat a specific condition, then he cannot treat the condition effectively, also, in some cases lack of knowledge would lead to the negative treatment.
For example, a person having a Ph.D. degree in any sector have a prefix name as Dr, but, he cannot treat the medical condition.
2. Lack of coordination and organization:
In a treatment, the coordination of all the staff and the organization is very important, the coordination and organization of the health care ease the treatment process. in case, it is missing, the patient would not feel comfortable and would not recommend the organization any further.
Internal data is the data, which is stored in a specific organization, such as the medical record and the visit duration and the frequency of the patient. In order to provide a proper care, the handling of patient details is very important. the internal data provides the treatment history, which help in treating the condition effectively. In case, the data is lost, the patient cannot provide all the detail, which lead to many mishaps.
External data is the data, which is not stored in the organization, these data are collected from outside resources, such as insurance providers. Keeping this data is also necessary to provide the immediate care to the patient and effective treatment.
