Explain what the terms Allopatric, Parapatric, and Sympatric refer to and explain how they are different from each other.
Allopatric speciation occurs when the population of the same species is isolated from each other due to geographical barriers. Parapatric speciation occurs when a small part of the population of the same species is isolated from its parent population and build up their population to such a point where the new population is at the verge of becoming a new species.
Sympatric speciation is the isolation of the species reproductively from each other and forming a new species.
The allopatric speciation is different from the other two because in this type of speciation, the barrier is the nature i.e., geographical regions tend to be against the species being together and hence they evolve.
Parapatric speciation is different from others because the small part of the population isolates themselves from the parent population and there is no role of nature in this isolation.
Sympatric differs from the other two because here reproductive isolation happens within the species and this isolation is not influenced by the nature or surroundings but influenced by the species itself.
