a). The 95% confidence interval for the average number of episodes per season for a television program is :-
= ( 16.23 , 21.24 )
b).YES,we can say that the average number of episodes per season is lower than the value 23.7.
because, the upper limit of the confdience interval is 21.24, which is less than 23.7, the average number of episodes for the shows that Betty starred in.
