Organic foods :
Food or food products , grown in an environment free from artificial agri chemicals and possibly certified by a regulatory body.
A box of Macaroni and Cheese :
This food is not 100% organic as it contains Salt and water.
Salt: Salt is not an organic compound. If a food item is living or organic compound, then it can be certified as organic compound . Salt can't be certified as organic compound as it contains Sodium Chloride ( approximately 98 %) and remaining minerals like Iodine.
Water: Water also not certified as organic by USDA ( United States Department of Agriculture). Organic compound should contain a carbon compound in it . But water chemically is Hydrogen and oxygen molecules.
Whey : The liquid remaining after milk has been curdled and strained in the process of making Cheese . Natural whey from the Certified cows is organic, but there are artificial products also. On the label also it is not mentioned as organic whey . So it may be artificial that means non organic compound.
Other compounds in the food items are:
Durum semolina pasta: It is an organic compound.
Cheddar Cheese: All diary products and milk are organic compounds
Enzymes: enzymes also considered as organic as it stimulates the biochemical reactions in the body.
