The Team must develop appropriate employee training and development programs that would ensure a talented and highly skilled workforce to easily counter the dynamics in the market and achieve the organizational goals.

 

The Goal of the Team

To develop policy, procedures, and tools that align with the organizational operations to equip the employees with the required skills and knowledge.

 

Duration and Time Commitment

The Team has been commissioned to work together for six months. The daily efforts will be an average of 50% of the team members' time, apart from their official duties.

 

Scope

To develop policies and procedures and tools to enhance the employees' competence in the market.

End Goal

The Team will identify the areas in the employees' experience and skills that need improvement. Techniques that are helpful to the dynamics in the markets will be administered to the employees to ensure they are well-equipped with the required knowledge and skills to offer competent services to the organization. A 95% improvement in the employees' competence is expected at the end of the training and development programs

Supporting Resources

The first supporting resource is team members who are open to new ideas and support from the organizational management.

The Team will require access to the employees' background information, employee records from all the departments, a boardroom as a working space, a travel budget for the Team to benchmark from other organizations, and external training and development programs, specialists.

 

Reporting

The team leader will be responsible for reporting weekly to the executives regarding the employees' participation in the implemented programs, availability of the supporting resources, and the training process progress. A monthly leadership review will be held to determine the program's progress, in line with the initial objective.

 

Deliverables

  1. Employee training and development management policy.
  2. Program coordinator manual
  3. Principles and procedures define how the training and development program should be undertaken to meet the desired goal.

 

Organizational Approaches

  1. Motivating the employees to ensure Attendance, participation, and conduct at meetings. This will ensure their involvement and engagement in the desired outcome of the training and development program.
  2. Ensuring that the employees are responsible and accountable even when outside the training room. This makes them able to practice what they learn, do more research, and willingly contribute to the programs.
  3. Good interaction between the team members and the leadership. This will ensure the availability of all the supporting resources required, which increased the training and development programs' success.
