Explain Freud's theory of psychosexual development and Erikson's theory of psychosocial development as it relates to the middle school child. How do they differ from Piaget theory?

Freud's theory of psychosexual development mainly focuses on basic needs and biological forces between birth and adolescence whereas, Erikson's theory of psychosocial development involves societal and environmental factors for adult. Freud's goal is to maintain balance in all the areas of life. Erikson's theory states every individual has to get through eight stages of life from infancy to late adulthood.
