Difference between “training” and “education”. Then explain the role of each in higher education (and specifically in business school).

“Training”

  • Training is a practical method of accuring skills and gaining knowledge.
  • It is a narrow concept as comparied to eucation.
  • Training is mostly done for a particular task or job.
  • There are many type of training one of them are on job training,Hands-on training, Interactive method and many more.

“Education”

  • Education is a Thoretical approach of learning kills and gaining knowledge.
  • It is a much wider concept compaired to training.
  • Education is not done for a particular task or job , it is for entire life.
  • There are mainly three type of eduction formal , Informal , Non-formal.

Training and education in business school

  • In now days business school are incorporating both education and training in there curriculum because they both paly a very important role in building a successful career for any student.
  • Education can be useless if you are not able to apply it practically , that why practical knowledge and training both are very important.
