Laws are the rules for every individual should follow. Laws regulate the behavior of individual or community. Without certain laws , rules and regulations the behavior of people cannot be controlled by the government.

Legislation serves as an important tool to support , promote and sustain activities at the community level. Laws satisfies the requirements and at the same time , it's being compatible with the political , economic and socio cultural activities of the society. Legislation is important because sometimes laws may antagonize the people and make them people un-cooperative.

Smoking is an unacceptable behavior of an individual. It affects the human health deteriously. Government propagand the effects of smoking and explains the ill effects of health. By all means of media , newspaper , public health education , government tries to educate the people about the effects of smoking. Smoking is one of the major cause for lung cancer. Education system also implements health education to the students about the effects of good and bad behavior affects the health. Commercial places or in cinema theatres also they are projecting about the ill effects of smoking. Even in cigarette packets , government insists the companies to add the ill effects of smoking. Smoking is not only affect the health of smokers but also affects other individual who are near to smoking by passive smoking. At home most of the time children get affected by passive smoking. So the government is doing public health education to educate the community about the ill effects of smoking.
