The state of Navada is in the western USA and is mainly deserted area. Despite of being the 4th largest peoducer of hold and being called the silver state , it has a very poor rank for infrastructure development. The quality of infrastructure is very poor and needds improvement. A survey and infrastructure report which was conducted in 2014 stated that the state of nevada is very poor in the infrastructure terms. Following are the grades received by it. Wastewater B, School D , Drinking water C- and dams D+ etc.

During the time of recent US elections President Trump promised to increase the infrastruture to double than what Hillary clinton was supposed or promised to set. Despite all these months since the elections got over the state of nevada didn’t get any better.

Following are some of the ways the infrastructure quality of Nevada can be improved-

• Nevada’s major revenue comes from tourism. It is mainly because of it’s linient laws regarding marriage, divorce and gambling. This the hotels in nevada must come up with new schemes and renovate their hotels so that people who come to visit can enjoy their stay. The people of nevada can also try to improve their tourist spots and increase the attraction of tourists. This will bring in the revenue and thus the collected revenue can be used to develop the infrastructure of nevada.

• Being the 4th largest producer of gold, it should motivate people to develop new skills so that they can make ornaments from the colected gold which can help nevada increase more tourist visit and attention. This will not only help in creating hobs in nevada but also help the people of nevada getting a higher and better standard of living.

• Due to high inemployment rate in nevada the EDA has planned to increase the jobs in western nevada so that around 50k jobs can be created in many sectors.

• Priority sector in nevada should be a healthy living and schooling. This will enable people to develop new skills and thus they could get better jobs and thus increasing the economic activity in the state.

• Some career development lessons should be conducted in Nevada which will help the people in choosing the right path. Also the government must spend more on the technology ised in Nevada and other scientific areas. This will help improve the condition.

All the above mentioned things can help improve the state’s economic activity which will not only help it collect better taxes but also help in improving the quality of infrastructure.
