Patient Perspective:
Patient satisfaction is a important factor in health care
services..According to patient survey they need some important
factor for them to get satisfied that is physically
fitness, mentally fitness and engage in meaningful actrivities..But
patient satisfaction not only the concept..it is a combination of
perspective and values..Efficient patient satisfaction should be
focused patient medical and service needed before they leaving the
hospitals..Hospital providers should show point of care and
personal care to satisfy the patient..
Health care needs should be met for all
patient..Because they are expecting good social care, hospital
stay, finance, health education and transportation etc...Policies are
intended to meet pateint's health care needs..Physician and patient
communication is important for quality care..Pharmacist also play a
role in patient satisfaction by problem solving, drug
reaction, patient outcome with particular drug etc...
*Intolerated chronic illness making the person
worst..There is lot of internal and external factors for people to
seek medical treatment..It includes cultural,social,psychological
and health expectations..There is physical and mental health
problem for people to seek treatment..studies showes from journal
health services research there is link between physical and mental
health..when the patient coming to hospital for medical treatment
more than their physical issues they have problem with mental
issues..
*some countries have advanced technology and equipment
in medical facilities..so there will be more accurate and proper
diagnosis and quality treatment..so people going to these hospitals
for this reason..Patient-physicians relationship also play a key
role for patient choosing their hospitals..Patient expects the
physician to listen their complaint and understand their
problem..Diagnosis and treatement should be documented in the
EHR..Physician by understanding their condition decision-making
process should not go to the exteded level and some time for
discussion..good relationship between doctor and pateint will heal
their wounds soon..
2, Mid-level practitioners get paid very low than
physician visit...This service paid by public and privacy third
party payers, but reimbursement may differ..Independent visits for
mid level practitioner reimbursed at a lower rate,,According to
policy change medicare pay 85% of mid level practitioner visits
equal to physician visit..Reimbursement from medicare rules are the
service from PA and NPs should be medically reasonable, they must be
legally authorised..Incident to services reimbursement will be
added to physicians bill, whenever patient comes physician must
provide direct supervision..PA and NPs are trained to work closely
with all patient care and practices..so PAs can get cost
efficiently because they do many services waht physician can
provide..
Doctors and patient should work together
in decision making for treatment plan..Physician must understand
their needs and patient must have confidence to their
physician..Physician must respect and truthful to patient before
giving treatement is a medical ethics..Doctor patient relationship
is facilitated by continuity of care..
Physician Autonomy means the physician have full
freedom to provide treatement for pateint by their judgement..But
physician autonomy requires conditions from liberty...Affordable
care Act has proviion it will expand coverage for patient and
reduce financial bareiers in physician clinical practice..
