what person X means in this paragraph?

The patient often refers a person with white laboratory coats as a “nurse” or “doctor”. Other healthcare professionals than a nurse and doctor also utilize the white laboratory uniform. Pearson x is a health professional who is not doctor or nurse. If patient misunderstands person X as a nurse or doctor the Person X is responsible for correcting the patients and say them exactly their position. It is the nature of people to get a wrong impression about the health care professionals as doctors and nurse by the clothes (laboratory coats) worn by them. The healthcare professionals are responsible for explaining their designation to the patients who misunderstand then as nurse or doctor.

What should you say if a patient refers to you as “doctor” or “nurse” even though your degree is in another discipline?

Solutions

Expert Solution

The paragraph describes that the patients or their relatives and the community will most probably misunderstand the health proffessionals based on their professional appearance. For example a physiotherapists wears a white coat as similar as a doctor and a nurse. In such cases there is a high risk for the common people to misunderstood the physiotherapists as doctor or a nurse.

It is really very surprising that somenone is misunderstanding that i am a doctor or a nurse. This is mainly due to the common lack of awareness by the people about the other streams of health care system. The patients and their family members might misunderstand a professional by looking on their appearance of wearing a white coat. This is a very common and very much interesting matter for being recogonised as a Higher authority personal.

Considering myself to the situation i would help the patient or their family members to know my own job description and job discipline to which i really belongs to and works at. The details about my position and status will help them identify that they were misunderstood about me. I will approach them with calm and peace to make them comfortable and will not rather argue with the individuals to make my suggestions supreme. I might also show my identity proof of the work setting so that they can understands my state of the job at brief.
