A patient with hyperlipidemia is commonly asymptomatic. The first concern for HLD is high LDL level.
High levels of low density lipoproteins(High LDL level) are are well documented risk factor for cardio vascular disease.
When the atria of the heart contract out of sync with the ventricles, the blood in the upper chamber can pool. This is why blood clots are more common with AFib.
In AFib the heart beats are irregular due to disorganised electrical signals. This causes atria to beat out of sync with ventricles, causing pooling of blood in upper chamber of the heart. When heart cannot pump out the blood effectively, this pooling of blood causes clot formation.
The finding can be appreciated by palpation is Leg swelling.
Leg swelling is palpable swelling, with the help of palpation we can identify wheather the swelling is pitting or non pitting type.
Appendicitis is condition that is concerning when the patient has right lower quadrant abdominal tenderness.
Pain at mc bourney point (right lower quadrant abdominal tenderness) is the classical symptoms of Appendicitis.
An acute blockage of the coronary vessel would likely cause chest pain. The most concerning diagnosis at this time is MI(Myocardial infarction)
A blckage of blood flow in coronary vessel leads to death of cardiac muscle causing Chest pain is well defined in MI.
The doctor cant decide the diagnosis from the exam.To further rule out diagnosis they need to order testing.
Most of the time it is not possible to come to conclusion about the disease condition of patinet, just with the help of physical examination,it takes some more investigation or testing to diagnose the patients ailements.
The patient developed shortness of breath after taking sulfa medication belongs in the Allergies.
A sulfa allergy occurs when a person has allergic reaction to drugs that contain chemicals called sulfonamides.
Main symptoms of sulfa allergy is shortness of breath, swelling of mouth and throat,a rush or hives on the skin
