Expert Solution

The term "seamless" reffers to smoothness. A seamless connection means a network connection between network devices without any interuption or glitch. A seamless conncetion will continue to transfer data packets without any delay or packet loss. A wired connection may be much easier or better option to opt if considering the seamlessness, because the chances for getting noise or data loss is very less in a wired connection compared to a wireless connection.

When a wireless connection is considered, the datas are sending over air and there are lot and lot of other signals and waves around. This will make a chance of overlaping, crashing or even lossing. This reduces the smoothness or seamlessness of the transmission. But, today the wireless technologies are well advanced and have the capability of sending the lossed or corrupted packets very fastly which maintains the smoothness to a great extend.

Even though, compared to optical fibre wired connection which provide top notch quality and reliability, the wireless connection is always down in the terms of seamlessness.
